Farmgate Restaurant is proud to support the local artists of Nowra and the greater Shoalhaven and so thankful that we have such beautiful, talented artworks to decorate our walls. Guests enjoy the regularly changing artworks and many have bought works to enjoy in their home, office or as gifts for loved ones. Artworks change approx. 4-5 weeks. The whole price goes to the artist.

In their second exhibition at Farmgate Restaurant, Judith Reardon and Liz Skewes continue to use their mediums to describe and convey a sense of place. Whether referencing an immediately identifiable location or a conceptual, abstract one, they encourage the viewer to look with their imagination as well as their eyes.

My works are intended to blur the boundaries between the real and virtual, privileging mystery, empathy, and tradition. Judith Reardon

These works are a response to the landscapes around me, both local to the Shoalhaven and to a trip I took to central Australia this year. The collages are an experiment into media and an adventure into spatial relationships. Liz Skewes
