Farmgate Restaurant is proud to support the local artists of Nowra and the greater Shoalhaven and so thankful that we have such beautiful, talented artworks to decorate our walls. Guests enjoy the regularly changing artworks and many have bought works to enjoy in their home, office or as gifts for loved ones. Artworks change approx. 4-5 weeks. The whole price goes to the artist.

Judi Goodwin’s practice moves across acrylic, with a strong focus on colour, texture, and expressive visual storytelling. Over time, she has developed a body of work that ranges from vibrant abstracts to figurative and culturally inspired pieces, often with a strong sense of movement, rhythm, and warmth.
She is especially drawn to bold, eye-catching colour combinations and layered surfaces that invite the viewer to keep looking and discovering new details.
Judi’s recent work reflects both her long connection to art and her growing passion for abstraction. After many years of teaching primary school students, she returned to painting with even greater freedom and curiosity, and she continues to explore new directions in her practice. Judi values work that is lively, accessible, and emotionally engaging, while still offering depth and visual sophistication.
