Current artists: KIM GRAVAS
Exhibition: Fabulous by Nature for October until 26/10/2026
Kim Grivas is a passionate artist living and working on the beautiful south coast of NSW.
This exhibition brings together a collection of paintings that celebrate the beauty, character and fleeting drama of the natural world. Flowers are the heart of Kim Grivas’ practice – gathered from the garden, arranged in the home, observed closely and painted with an instinctive response to colour, form and mood. Alongside these floral works are intimate interiors and glimpses of landscapes reflecting the spaces and surroundings that continue to shape her artistic life.
Working predominantly in oils, Kim uses a loose, expressive alla prima approach, building rich surfaces with luscious colour and generous, textured paint. Her aim is not simply to record what she sees, but to capture the feeling of the moment – the exuberance of a bloom, the harmony of an unexpected colour, the quiet pleasure of a familiar interior, and sense the joy and wonder found in everyday beauty.
